Bracelet Completed: Ocean Treasures

Ocean Treasures

Hurray!! I finished the bracelet tonight. It hasn't been sprayed yet.

The materials used are: discontinued #60 Coats thread for the Irish crochet, #20 Coats thread for the knotting and tatting, delica beads, fresh water pearls, and a paua shell center, and silver coated claw clasp and ring.

My daughter named it Ocean Treasures.

So, so PRETTY and the perfect mermaid's bracelet. I see two vanishing hearts.

Lovely delicate creation. Such fine detail. With those fine tight threads it should hold together well for a long time. Good job Mindy~!!

Thank you ladies :)

I have to admit, this was a hard bracelet to let go.

I LOVE the color too Nell. It looks stunning on my wrist…lol. Yes, I will have to make one for ME…one day. I always say that and never get around to it though.

Teri, I did notice the vanishing heart. Funny thing is that it wasn’t intentional. I had to add more beads for the band to lay flat. They were more obvious when I blocked the bracelet.

Esther, this is tight crochet, that’s for sure. The shell bead fits snugly surrounded by the Clones knots. Those little pretties are the key to making this thick bead stay in place (and it isn’t going anywhere). It is as snug as a bug in a rug…lol.
